M6 questions/comments
A friend of mine was talking to me about the M6 in the fbodies and how it relates to the borg warner T5 in his mustang. So i was curious:
-where do you guys normally shift (easy acceleration vs quick or street racing)
-how long has most of your clutchs lasted
-do you rev to 3500 or so and feather it out to launch hard?
-what kind of shift pattern do you find yourself doing? (1,3,5 ect.)
-For me personally i stick to around 2000ish for shift to 2nd and around 2500 for 3rd for a comfy ride and i duno yet for aggressive acceleration (obviously redline would be all out racing)
-I have around 40K miles and i wonder what to expect from my clutch
-Still looking for good rpm to launch at
-mostly 1,2,3..ect skip shift never worked well for me.
Just wondering how my fellow ls1 owners drove their cars since i handle mine so differently from my friend's stang.

street racing i shift when the rev limiter tells me it's time. Cruising around town about 3k. The stock clutch will last until you get sticky tires, a couple hard launches at the track with slicks should take care of it.
