Default stock t56 horsepower

how much rwhp can the stock t56 transmission hold up to with out grinding or any other problems? thanks

I know depending on how you treet it the tranny can hold in the seven hundred range.

yup, it can take a LOT of power. missing shifts is what screws them up so bad. I made well over 100 passes on my last T-56 with between 480 and 550 to the rear tires. I rarely missed gears. maybe 4-5 times in those ~120 passes.
