Default Silverado clutch options?

I own a 99 silverado and just purchased a Ls1 longblock 2 days ago that I plan to swap in the near future. With 95k on the clock I'd be a fool not to change the clutch while the motor is out.

The tranny I have is a NV3500 and only rated at 285ft/lbs. But they put it behind Joe Gibbs with 395 so I'm going to take my chances. I have never changed a clutch before so what I need to know is it tranny specific or engine specific? Like, will the same clutches that work for a t56 work in my trans? Or do I need to look for one specifically made for my NV3500?

Thanks
