Odd sound When engaging
Odd sound When engaging 1996 T-56 and when i fired it up after my audio install it made this awful sound when i let the clutch out right as it was engauging, it kinda felt funny at the pedal and the shifter shook the same as the pedal (not that much but noticeable) it went into gear fine and all, but now i noticed that i have a oil leaking way back at the meeting on my Y. Any thoughts i need to fix this by friday for my dyno!
Judging from where you say the fluid is leaking it may be a bad rear seal on the trans. Not very expensive or hard to replace at all. I'd check my tranny mount, it's probably toast.
