Pro 5.0 Shifter I am gonna get the P 5.0/Lou's Short stick pkg. I think I will install this myself. Am I able to put my factory hurst **** back on???

This is a mod I am doing so I don't wreck my tranny, I shift hard (not that hard though). It just feels like I am bedning something.

i thought all short sticks would have the same threads. Although you feel like you are bending something that is most likely the rubber in the stock stick. If you like the way it shifts but, dont like this feeling you could just get a short stick for the factory hurst.

It depends on the stick he orders. Lou makes the short stick with a couple of different threads for the different size *****. I got my LSS with the threads to fit the aftermarket Hurst **** (I believe its 3/8"). There is no way I could put the stock **** back on.
