T5 questions and problems

T5 questions and problems Ive got a few problems shifting with my T5. When im racing and getting on it my 1/2 shift is terrible. It wont slip into gear and goes around it almost. but in normal driving falls into gear no problem. Ive searched around and havent found anything close to what my problem is. Thats why im asking. Could this be a shifter problem or possibly an internal problem. Just to let you know my panhard bar is bent, i already ordered a new one from lakewood. But im thinking this is part of my problem, wrong or right anyone know? All help is greatly appreciated . my times at the track are killing me becuase of this 1/2 shift. Thanks in Advanced

The shift will require more effort when done at higher RPM. You may be exceeding the synchro limits and feeling a block out or the shifter(and/or socket)are worn and give a block-out type feeling. Does the synchro clash?T5s have a paper-lined blockler ring that can get glazed and balk at higher RPMs.Only cure would be a replacement.
