Do I need a slave, master or both?
Thanks,
Kyle
it is usually suggested that you replace the slave, because if you have problems with it later it will be a pain to drop the tranny just for the slave.
if you are unable to replace the master when you're doing the clutch job thats OK, it is not too hard to install a new one later on.
ROTFLMAO So a new slave cylinder will come with a throw out bearing? I was thinking about doing the LS6 clutch kit from MTI and a new GM slave. I was wondering if I would need to get a throw out bearing separately?
You have a 2002 so there is no upgrade for your slave. Replacing a slave is tough work, not worth it IMO. I'd try the drill mod to start.
