just got car! bear with me pls!
Car shifts and drives fine, but tranny is noisey. Now it does have a hurst shifter, but it's more noisey than my 96 TA with a Pro 50 on it, so I'm thinking something else is amiss.
Noise is mostly evident in early gears, and worse if your on then off throttle etc... Sounds almost like a bad mount or something is hitting tranny as motor tranny shifter under load
Very odd sound too, if I'm accelerating then let off throttle, about 3-5 seconds after that I hear a metallic "ping" coming from under the car.
