Pulling the McLeod clutch!
Looks like the GM 288 slave blew out on me. Fluid coming out of thebell housing and no more pedal pressure.
So after a year and 2 months of it being in with 14-15k miles of pure hell on it (over 100+ 1.6 60 foot times on it with several 1.5's too)I want to look at the rest of the clutch since we are going to pull it anyway.
Anyone interested in pics? Should have it pulled tonight and will tell you how it looks. Pics later in the week.

My Mcleod 1370 Throwout bearing just went last month. I think have the record for the longest 1370 in the car. Got about 5000+ miles on it and about a year all togther. Im pulling it and putting a GM145 and the Mclodo Master Cyl. went it gets warmer.

So, how did it look? I really liked my Mcleod single disk setup. It was a great street/strip clutch. The Mcleod Rev-Lok II setup I am using now just grabs HARD!!

Well, it's out and it looks pretty damned good I might add. I think that about half the organic side is gone and about 1/3 of the Kevlar side. I guess I'll just throw in a new disk while I'm in here and resurface the flywheel. As soon as I get the pics developed I'll post them.

Re: Pulling the McLeod clutch!
Mark, the organic side was always the most worn when I took my two kevlar/organic disks out. If you want, try a kevlar/kevlar. LOL I was talking to Red at Mcleod and he said it would chatter quite a bit though.
If you do need another kevlar/organic disk, Thunder just got in a shipment of those. I think the price is around $100-$120 (not 100%sure).
