need help with new clutch

Default need help with new clutch

I installed a LUK clutch kit in my 02 ws6. It was the factory replacement kit. pilot bearing, throw out bearing, disk, flywheel and pressure plate. I installed and torqued everything to spec. I broke it in for 2k miles. Never above 3k on the tach. all easy daily driving. After I drove the way I usually do, max out the gear before shifting. I took it the track once for about 5 passes too. It now has about 5k on the set up. The problem I am having is when I press in the clutch and rewv the the motor to make some noise and then let the clutch back out the pedle doesnt come up all the way. A quick pump or 2 of the clutch pedal will fix it. Could this be a hydraulics problem. The car has only 36k on it and has always been maintained.

Your slave could be going out. Did you replace that when you had the trans out? Might want to bleed it a couple of times and see if that fixes it first

didnt replace the slave. didnt disconnect it either. I'll check to see if the fluid level is correct then I'll bleed and see.

checked the fluid it seems dirty. Gonna bleed it all out this weekend and see what happens
