Default Clunking under the car.

Ever since i replaced my clutch last month i have this clunking sound coming from under the car. When i go over bumps it does it. It almost sounds like the tranny is bouncing around under there. I got underneath the car last night and looked and the mount is tight as hell i checked all the bolts and nothing is loose. I am really starting to get worried because i have to drive 80 miles to work everyday and i would hate for something to happen. What are the chances of those bolts in the tranny, bellhousing or clutch assembly coming loose after tightening them all to specs. It clunks sometimes when i push the clutch in and i am at a slow speed. I have 1 bolt missing from the bellhousing that i just noticed but i don't think that would do it could it? I have the steel driveshaft on there and that amplifies noise like a bitch with a poly mount and I am wondering if these clunks and stuff are normal. I have never ridden in another ls1 f-body that didn't have loud *** exhaust to cover up these little sounds. Is it normal for this stuff to be happening. Should I pull the tranny and retighten anything down there?

Well one bolt missing cannot be good. Recheck them all & replace the missing one. How about the torque arm mount? Is it tight & in the right place?

I am able to get under the car and jiggle the torgue arm a little bit. I guess it should have no wiggle at all under there correct. Time to put this thing up on jackstands again and get under there and bolt it back up again. Also what does a bad bearing inside the tranny sound like and would it make the noise all the time even with the clutch pushed in and it out of gear?

Mine clunks too after my clutch install. I am pretty sure it's the torque arm. When I take off from a stop slowly, it wont clunk. If I take off with some force it will clunk. The harder you take off the more pressure there is on the torque arm, which leads me to believe that it is the problem. I am replacing the torque arm and tranny brace with BMR products. That should eliminate the clunk if it is the torque arm.
