Swapping in T56- Need Checklist What all do i need? A friend and I are doing the swap and I want to be sure to have everything I need before we get nasty with the car <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">
Its an auto of course right now... will everything with the stock ECM check out with the 6 speed? anything i need to deal with with the computer at all?

Re: Swapping in T56- Need Checklist Its much easier to go from an A4 to an M6. Your computer may set some SES lights since it will be trying to shift the tranny still, but it should run okay.
Clutch/brake pedal assembly
clutch master cylinder
clutch slave cylinder
T56 crossmember
Tranny mount
6-speed console
Tranny/Bellhousing/Clutch
I think that may be it. M6 cars require an A4 radiator when they do the swap because of the tranny fluid cooler at the bottom, but you can just plug that part up for this swap.

Re: Swapping in T56- Need Checklist I too really want to do this as well. I'm glad to hear it is easier going from the A4 to the M6. Although I still think that I would have my computer reprogrammed to work all of the bugs out.
