Tried all these Tranny Mounts and here are how I rate them:

1. Energy Suspension Poly Mount= Mounted it without Preload Plate and it is awesome!!! Best Mount on Market!!!!
2. 1LE Rubber GM Mount= Very Quiet, Very Solid, Good Overall Mount!!!
3. Prothane Poly Mount= Very Noisy, Unbreakable but breaks everything else it is attached too, I had it on less than 24 hours and cracked my M6 Tailshaft housing in half!!!

Well, here's another update. I thought my faint humming was due to the poly TA mount, but now I believe it is in the axle. I have some powdered metal in the lube and it's turned a grayish color. So I'g guessing a bearing or something may be wearing away and changing the tolerances of the gears and that's causing my humming noise. If anyone knows about these stock rear ends, I'm open to suggestions.

I'm going to leave the poly TA mount in there and pull the cover off the axle shortly and see what I can see. Maybe some fresh lube and some magnets will help the situation.

Did mine today per your directions and it is awesome, car feels firmer, as do shifts. Cut about half the noise and vibration from the car at highway speeds. The rest I'm sure is from my bent rim. Plus anything would reduce vibration after having this:
