Default tip for putting the master back in

ok i had real bad luck putting the master back in, i finally figured the fastest way to get it in
i probably spent 3 hours trying to put it back in with the U bolt on the master.

well take the U bolt off of the master, (make sure the U bolt is bent corectly so it goes in the master easily)
put the master in its place from the engine compartment, now go inside the cab and slip the eye loop on the clutch. this will lign the clutch up pretty close to the holes on the firewall.
now go back to the engine compartment and install the Ubolt , go back to the cab and put the nuts on.

lot easier that way
hope that helps someone out who is haveing trouble with it.

yep...works good. Especially make sure that the U bolt is lined up. It always seems they are a little wide for some reason.

One other thing to try is eliminate the U bolt and go with two regular bolts and nuts. That makes it very easy as well.

I can usually hang a wrench off the bolt head in the engine bay and then use a ratchet inside the car. Sure is easy to get the bolts in the hole that way though.
