HARD LEAVE and M6?
This seems to be what converter does (minus torque multiplication). I would think rear would survive ok and as long as you had traction the 60 ft. would be strong. Has this been done and what were the results?
also break on the shifts.I kept trying to figure
out how not to buy a rear end,but I bought I
one anyway .Now, I don't have to worry about it.
If you see the ring gear on the 10 bolt compared
to the 12 bolt,you'll understand....It's hard
to justify spending the money, until you break it,
and your stuck somewhere.
Years ago,I had an 84 5.0 Mustang.It came with
basically
the same rear end as an LS-1(7.5).I exploded it
on the 1-2 shift.Stranded in the middle of nowhere
2 in the morning and had to get a ride from a drunk to get to a phone.IT was NO fun!I think ford
went to the 8.8 inch in 86(?).Atleast FORD LEARNED! <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">
