Default Clutch Pedal

I installed my SPEC Stage III last week and I have put about 150 miles on my car. Since the install, my clutch pedal engages higher than it used to and I was just actually noticing it the other day that not long after it engages the pedal is all the way up. Is this normal to have the pedal higher with an aftermarket clutch, or is something not right with the shift fork or throwout bearing or something? My main concern is that I just want to make sure Im not driving around with a partially disengaged clutch. When I came home from school today I was going about 40 mph and I put it in 6th and gassed it and it didn't slip or anything, but I just wanted to get your guy's ideas. Keep in mind that this is an LT1 car. Thanks.

Did you put in a new fly wheel?? My ram engaged right off the floor when I put mine in and slowly worked its way back to the middle. My buddys spec 3 did the same thing as mine, these are ls1's, dont know if it makes a differance.

No, I just turned the flywheel- but maybe since LT1's and LS1's are opposite clutch styles (push style/pull style) mine will work its way from the top to the middle. Anyone else have any thoughts. I'm thinking it has to be normal because you can't really attach the clutch fork wrong.
