Clutch vibration My friend has a 94 TA with the lt1/t-56. He changed the clutch with a bog warner replacment and now thers a nasty vibration that gets worse as rpms rise. Is the preasher plate counterbalnaced or what?

ya the trans is on right. I was trying to get an idea of what could cause this. Thers also a metalic grinding noise when the clutch is depresed all the way to the flore.

Your gonna have to pull it apart. The grinding with pedal all the way down not good, could be the throw out bearing. Was the pilot bearing replaced? Doesnt matter, take it apart & inspect it. Check the diaphram spring in the pressure plate for bent fingers also.
