Input shaft movement
hey guys i just rebuilt my t-56, everything looked fine except for the 3-4 synchro , so i replaced that and i installed a steel 3-4 fork. after i reassembled it i noticed that the input shaft is a bit wobbly. I noticed this when my casing wasn't tightened down yet however i thought maybe tighening it up would help but its still loose. Is there any way to tighten this? It moves up down and side to side a decent amount. Even if i have to take the tranny apart again it would be worth it to know that my tranny isnt going to explode. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thnx guys

There is going to be some movement in the input shaft but there is a tolerance there. The only way to know if it's within tolerance is to put a dial indicator on it, sorry I don't have the specs.
