Accessing the bleeder valve from topside

Accessing the bleeder valve from topside My clutch pedal has gone away. I want to bleed my master from inside the car. Can anyone describe where I need to cut the hole so I can reach the bleed valve?

The easiest way to do it is to get under the car and use a punch to put a couple small dents in the floorboard across from the bleeder. From there, you can pull back the carpet/interface & you'll see the pings on the inside...use a hole saw and drill there.
Pretty much what I did also. Makes bleeding the slave soooo easy compared to trying it underneath the car. I also bought a rubber plug from Lowes to plug the hole when not being used. Looks and works great.
REally? how big of a hole are you guys putting in to get to the bleeder?

I also wondered if putting the tube upwards would help it bleed better, since the air woudl rise, and if anything backflowed into the slave it would jsut be fluid...

I put a 1-1/2 inch or so hole to get to the bleeder. I don't care what anyone says about the ease of bleeding it underneath...it takes one person just a few minutes to get it done from the inside of the car. I use a thin 11mm socket with a couple extensions & 1/4" drive ratchet.
