Flywheel install

Both the crank and the flywheel have 6 holes for the bolts and one hole for nothing (??).
Do they have to be aligned?
There is no alignment pin or whatever to keep a specific position, but it seems logic to aligne them... or not?

If i remember correctly they are zero ballance? Try doing a search on flywheel install and you might find it.

well... I normally use the search button before asking something...

I haven't find any post about this particular topic.
Maybe it's just obvious that the holes have to be aligned, but then it would be logic to have a pin

yea i would like to know the same thing . when i did mine i just aligned the holes . thats the way it was and it seems to be right .

Align the holes. I Thought the 7th hole had a small nipple that should have gone into that hole. But its been a couple years since I installed one on an LS1.
