Tranny fluid question
Tranny fluid question I've had a bad 2nd gear synchro in my car for a while now(can't have my car down long enough to have it repaired) just look at the time in my sig and you'll know what I mean. The last time I changed my tranny fluid I added some lucas tranny fixer and all it seemed like really was some really really thick transmission fluid. Now it doesn't grind at all so I'm wondering if I run gear oil or maybe a little more of the lucas fluid will it hurt my tranny at all until I can get it fixed?
you can run moose urine in it for awhile. It will not survive on gear oil for long. It depends on if you like walking. At the end of the day you won't have anything much worth fixing. Ya got time ( &cash) to replace it?
