Default spec 2 plus

Anyone messed with this one yet?? i saw it in the new gmhightech mag. says "holding power of a spec 3, driveability of a spec 2." Just curious if anyone else has looked into it.

It doesn't quite hold as much power as the stage 3, but almost (TQ rating is 620 for the 2+ and 680 for 3). Driveability is reported to be better than the stage 3, but how much remains to be told on these forums. I'm debating to buy the 2+ or the 3 right now and I can't make up my mind.

Someone hurry up and report on the 2+ "hybrid" clutch.

Just go with the 3, not much more money. Mine still has a little chatter with over 700 miles on it, but its holding up champ so far and I've gotton on it pretty good on the streets lately. Going to try the track tonight.

I think I'm going to bite the bullet and spend the cash on a Textralia. The reviews are just too good for me not to buy one.

Yeah, the 3+ is supposed to be a better daily driver than 3.

After reading more into the Textralia I have decided to go ahead and buy one. How can I go wrong? It holds 700+ HP and drives like stock. The best of both worlds.

Ihave the spec 2+ in my 99 firehawk. I had a few issues with shimming the slave cylinder, but got those worked out. It seems to be holding excellent, but it does chatter. I have about 1200 miles on it so far. If I had it to do all over again I would have bought the Textralia.

Yep, I ordered the Textralia today...can't wait to get the car back together and see how the clutch acts.
