Just a observation.

Ive seen it twice today on tv, Watching road corse racing. Now, I am 15 so sorry for my ignorance. But I plan on getting a m6 so I was just wondering. Ive noticed when on the brakes, and down shifting, the drivers tap the accelerator with the right side of the foot they have on the brake, Why are they getting on the gass when downshifting?

its called rev-matching
it keeps the engine in the correct rpm range needed for the gear, makes shifting quicker/easier and its easier on components.

Yes, and if you are still shifting down as you enter the turn, and don't have the revs matched, you will swap ends real quick, I still haven't got the trail braking thing down very well, I get all out of shape if I don't get myself slowed before I start to turn in. Some of this could be my mostly crappy stock setup.
