Question Clutch chatter is this normal durring break in.

i just installed a brand new spec stage 1 clutch, and it is chattering prety bad when i take off. But it is fine through the other gears, is this just part of the break in period and will go away once it is broken in. Or is something wrong, by the way i installed a new slave cylinder also, the flywheel was in good shape because i needed to change the clutch bucause of a pilot bearing going bad not the clutch, so the fly wheel was in good shape. So is this something in need to wory about, or just ignor and be easywith it for the 500 mile breakin.

My stage 2 was chattering like hell + vibrating.
After 500 miles it was still chattering so I removed it.
The pressure plate is warped and the assembly is out of balance (it was new!)
A stage 1 should be as good (smooth) as the stock one - I hope for you not to have the same problem as me.
Look at my homepage for clutch pictures... (under "manual transmission")

it is goin away slowly but surely i am about 50 miles into breakin and i can tell a big difference compared to the first time i took off, Its still chattering but seems to be goin away pretty quick so you guys think this will totaly dissapear by the 500mile mark
