Default spec 5

anyone know if 01/02 hydraulics good enough to support a spec 5, im having some hydraulic problems right now, tryin to pin it down. I have an 01 trans am, with a spec 5, brand new slave and throwout bearing. ohh and i had the my factory flywheel turned. the first day of driving wasnt bad except for take off from a dead stop, the car wanted to "shudder" when i tried to ride it out, that has progressively gotten better, but now i have started to smell burnt brake fluid when holding the clutch down for awhile, and the pedal gets softer, not soft but softer, but you can pump it a couple times and the pressure comes back to 100 percent again, i was thinkin my master was gonna take a sh** on me but im not hydraulics expert. and opinions or advice would be appreciated, thanks

I have been running a stg 5 off of the stock master and slave for the past 6-8k with no problems, have not even done the DM. I did have a slight shutter and good squeel for the 1st 500-700 miles. BUt now its great.

glad to know someone else besides me has taken the spec 5 dive, it seems everyone gets the 3 or maybe the 4, so thanks for the input, still need to know if my master is gonna dump on me.
