Anybody have the part number of the resovoir cap? (Or does anyone in Austin Tx, have an old one lying around)

O-Reilly's has the resovoir cap for sale? I would have thought that would be a dealer part.

it was only $6 for it at oreillys im sure advance and autozone have it. i called the dealer here and they wanted liek $50 for it

i think it is i didnt want to spend the money on the mitvac it was like $50 or so i just spent 18 for everything on that bleeder kit

So your pressurizing the system instead of putting a vaccum on it? That would not remove air traped in the top of the slave. Also sounds like a blown master seal waiting to happen. Bench bleeding and using the bleeder valve is the only way to do it right. Interesting idea though. Seems like it might work to help make the clutch driveable, but it would not remove all of the air.

yea i didnt leave the bleeder closed i poped the sprayer adn then opened the bleeder valve. i couldnt see how the other method would work seemed werid
