i think it is i didnt want to spend the money on the mitvac it was like $50 or so i just spent 18 for everything on that bleeder kit

So your pressurizing the system instead of putting a vaccum on it? That would not remove air traped in the top of the slave. Also sounds like a blown master seal waiting to happen. Bench bleeding and using the bleeder valve is the only way to do it right. Interesting idea though. Seems like it might work to help make the clutch driveable, but it would not remove all of the air.
