Default Questions on Ripper Shifter

I have a few question, i bought the car with the B&M Ripper in it. I know am wondering:

1. Can i switch the ****? Is there a certain size?
2. Can i make the actual stick shorter/or replace it?

if so where is the best place to purchase these things.

pardon my ignorance.

If you have the 2 piece Ripper, you can cut down the shift lever by doing some welding. My buddy got about a inch and a half off of it, and cut the bottom of the shift **** so the boot fits perfectly under it, and it doesnt always fall down. If you have the one piece, I dont think you can cut it down. You can use different shift *****. I have a stock hurst shift **** on mine.

Do you have the older 2 piece or the newer 1 piece style? The older 2 piece curves, so you can only go down before it curves. We got 2 inches off total including the shift ****, and thats as short as it would go, but it is great. I'll snap a pic of it when I get the car back (hopefully today or tomorrow).
