Necessary to replace slave?
I am doing a clutch swap on my 02 Z28....i did a search and some people say it isn't necessary to replace the slave and others say it is....i am on a tight budget right now but i am open for opinions.

well, i think my clutch just died, so I'm looking at prices on clutch packages. I started to turn around where I work, and my car acted like it was going to die. I didn't look @ the rpm's or guages, just automatically pushed in the clutch and when I did, it stuck to the floor and died anyway. It won't turn over and if I pop the clutch back out, when I push it in, it just goes straight to the floor & sticks. Sorry, I didn't mean to take over the thread, but someone said it may just be the slave cylinder. Any thoughts on that?
