Default M6 Boot/clip Question

Is the upper boot and clip from a 02 Fbody interchangable with the earlier 93 to 97 fbodies?

I would think that it would be. I saw someone post asking this question because he has a 94 LT1 and was curious because you were going to make him one.

I have had a few people ask me this and I am not sure. I just want to be positive before sending someone something that is wrong.

I ran some P/N's on www.gmpartsdirect.com and P/N 17997789 is for 93 to 02 for anyone else that would be interested in knowing this.

Thanks, Dave

Couldn't tell ya for sure... but I do know the interiors were actually group in the following families:

1993
1994-1996
1997-1998
1999-2002

Most changes had to do with gauges, but the major "style" change was in 1997.

only thing that changed from 93-94 was the avalibility of t-tops, and they eliminated the yellow letters on the gauges.

you should also group 94 by itself if you want to get technical, 95 was the first year for leather.

But most people say 93-96 and 97-02

Like I said, the differences show above were mostly broke down due to gauges, and the big change was in 97. The "break" for leather is an option which doesn't affect part interchangability.
