You'll notice it'll be difficult to shift into gears quickly at wide open throttle. Perhaps the clutch pedal will start sinking, maybe it will stick to the floor one day. If you are going to be doing a clutch soon and have a 98-00 car, theres no better time to add a new master/slave.
Mine never died completely but I had a difficult time at the track. I couldn't get into second gear at all, it locked me out. Basically it was like trying to shift without a clutch because fluid wasn't getting where it needed to be fast enough. I did the 01-02 master/slave when I put a stage 2 clutch in, and it's been golden ever since.
I just did the clutch not too long ago. I know it has well under 2k. I did replace the slave cylinder when i did my first clutch swap a year ago. I just now ordered a RAM adjustable. The reason im asking is because Im trying to slove a clunking sound im getting when i press and release the clutch pedal. I have a thread going on in the manual transmission forum if you all wanna check it out and give some thoughts or ideas. Thanks.
