clutch slipping?

clutch slipping? Another problem with the camaro... when i let off the clutch at a stop, there seems to be a slipping/grinding noise, i believe it to be the clutch slipping, and plan on replacing it. if any others have a suggestion of what it may be, i'll look into that...
now for the second question... what type of clutch should i get? i'm a little tight on money right now, so i can't go overboard... also would it be advisable to change the flywheel too? if so, which is the suggested brand for the job?

Right now it seems most people are going with the LS7 Clutch/LS2 Flywheel combo. It'll hold extra power nicely since its made for 450whp stock anyway....
Truth be told it can be anything... my car is having a throwout bearing problem (i think) cuz it grinds almost every time i go into 2nd gear and occasionaly 1st and 3rd... I'm hoping swapping everything out will resolve this....

Is this slipping/grinding noise happening while the trans is in neutral? If that's the case your clutch isn't slipping, something contacting the input shaft is making the noise.
A slipping clutch means that when the car is in gear and under acceleration (usually when you're getting on it pretty good) the clutch is slipping against the flywheel and pressure plate. You'll see this as RPM jumping up under acceleration without you touching the clutch.
