Any gear really except 6th. Just keep the engine up in the rpm range like around 4000-4500 and up it will pull just fine. If you really want to feel it take off get some 4:10s or 4:11s.

ya what he said any gear where your up around 4500 and on to 6200 pulls like crazy! Stock gears...1st 0-52 is nuts, 2nd 50-72 Best IMO, 3rd 70-11X pretty good, etc.

4.10s = 1st 0-40 tire spinnin frury, 2nd 40-60, more spinning, 3rd 60-80 still spinning, etc.

4.10 are hella fun but i kinda wish i had gone with 3:73s just for traction purposes

4:10s are great!! you are always in the sweet spot. and once you get tires, i have 555r's, theres hardly any spinning and it just put like a sonofab... i love 4:10s!! the only thing about em though is that if yo are goin for a tops speed run, u kinda run out a little. oh well

Define rev matching? I hear people saying they "rev" match to be easier on the rear end. Do you slip it into an extremely low gear until the revs go all the way up before you nail it?

Rev matching is basically holding the clutch in, spinning the engine up in the RPMs to about where it would be for a given gear and speed shifting into that gear and letting the clutch out.

Personally I just double clutch high RPM/high speed shifts....Clutch In. Shift out. Clutch out. Pop the Gas. Clutch In. Shift In. Clutch Out. Sounds like a lot but it'll save you all kindsa wear and it's 2nd nature once you get used to it.

Definetly a first gear punch is the most amazing thing in these cars. Can't wait to see what happens when i change out my 3.42s. Most of the time though when i do a first gear punch i lose traction through all of 1st and alot of times all of second. But **** it, its worth it.

I like to punch it about 3k. Then I like the 1st to 2nd gear power shift.

This man knows what hes talking about
I have 3.42's and 6800 rev limiter so first ends at damn near 60, 2nd at 85ish, 3rd comes up close to 120, 4th ends right at the pin on the speedo, and 5th....well i dont get to use 5th too often while wide open.

oh... come on,how about this... find a nice big parking lot... 1st gear...creep up to 3500 rpms start a nice right hand turn then mash the gas and then add counter steer as needed while modulating the throttle. the best effect is acchived if there are hondas in the parking lot as well. Nothing like the feeling of total domination!
