Clutch Dilemma I have a 99 TA with 150000 miles on it . About 50000 miles ago i had the original clutch replaced with a centerforce df and i had the dealership do it. they told me that it wasnt a good idea to refinish the fly wheel but to get a new one instead so i called centerforce and they told me that i could as long as i used a shim otherwise the slaves throw wouldnt be sufficient. so i did that but ever since then it has never shifted properly especially at high rpms its hard to get into gear and reverse is a real bitch u have to hold the shifter in rev while letting the clutch out slowly and it clunks in otherwise it slips out as soon as u start to move. im redoing the clutch now with a new centerforce df and brand new centerforce flywheel, as well as a brand new slave just wondering if anyone has any advice on what the problem may have been the first time or what would be good this time round thnx
