tips for removing shifter boot?

pull the front part up slowly, then pull the back part of it off after removing the shift ****. That's how I do mine..

why would u take the console off when u want your boot off? i squeezed two sides together and it came out...

I find it 10x easier to take the top part of the console off than the boot when doing any shifter work.

yeah the whole console front piece was moving but i wanted to be a hard *** and try to remove the boot, luckily i ddint break it, but i can see how its so easy to.

anyone have a clue what that wire is? looks like it goes to the cig. lighter.

yeah umi short stick.

yea its for the lighter, the extra port that doesn't have a lighter in it I belive.

I bet the cabin is a noisey cuss with that hole you cut in the body boot.

does your short stick hit your ashtray or the piece in fron tof it? min does but its aWS6Store short stick, maybe they are different?

i dont think so, the umi is angled right where it mounts keeping it away from anything when its in reverse, or 6th gear.

i didnt cut any body boot or anything, it bolts right in, not that if that was directly to me or not calhoon

with the UMI SS u feel more gear, a litte more noise too. but u dont have to cut anything.. and its angled perfectly and makes the throws 100x shorter
