short shift kits...

i'm thinking about installing a short shift kit on my m6 t/a and was wondering if you guys thought that it was really worth it as far as appearance wise and performance wise overall...and also...is it very complicated to put one in? i'm just curious since i'm not too familiar with them...thanks

do you have a hurst shifter? all youd need is a short stick then....

It is very worth putting in a short stick if that is what you are talking about.

i put the umi short stick on mine, install took about 10 minutes, very simple, very big difference for under 30 dollars

I second that. I got the UMI for around $30 and it feels good. The bolts didnt fit (i think cause my hurst shifter is the billet/plus model) but a trip to menards solved that problem

I third that! umi short shifter handle from http://www.byunspeed.com/ for like $28 shipped.

I made a thread posting pics of my install, so much better.
