Clutch help... Pretty easy question...
Clutch help... Pretty easy question...LS6 or LS7? I have a 2000 Trans am M6 and want an excellent clutch... i do alot of street driving and an trip to the track everyonce in a while..anyways i was lookin at spec stage 2 but have heard 50/50 so id rather go with a more sure of a purchase... ive heard or the ram clutch but need feedback on it and where find and which exact one... also i was looking into an ls6 clutch or possibly an ls7 WHat do yall reccommend i dont have many mods but will most likely not heavily mod car ill keep horsepower under 400 im sure for the life of it or life of ownership...anyways lemme know whats best, best price, and Where to find... and FYI im on a budget thanks
also What is diffrence in ls6 clutch and ls7 clutch execpt for parts? if im gettin a deal over the other is it worth payin more for one then another? and an ls6 is a direct replacement right? one more question what flywheel is recommended? dont really care for the aluminum...THanks ALOT

i have heard wonderful things for the LS7 clutch but that will cost somewhere around $600 (you have to buy an LS2 flywheel), LS6 is a direct replacement and would probably suit you pretty well as far as price goes and since you will stay under 400 hp (ls7 would be a little overkill but nothing is wrong with overkill in my book) everyone has different opinions on every clutch but you can't go wrong with OEM stuff and since you aren't going to have over 400 hp it would work for you. On a 2000 you would probably want to upgrade the hydralics/slave cylinder to a 01-02... i have to do the drill mod now because of that
