Default Clutch problems.. please help!

When I go WOT, my clutch pedal ends up sticking to the floor after I shift.
It only happens at WOT when I take it up to the high RPMS when racing and such.

Why is this happening? Anyone know how to fix it.

Car is on stock clutch with 70k miles.

I have this problem also and it SUCKS!! You will find tons of posts where people complain of the same thing, only there are no definitive answers. It seems that what works for one person, may not work for another. I've seen where guys have replaced the clutch, hydrolics, drill mod, lined the braided master-slave line, etc. etc. and still no luck. Can you tell I'm frusterated also? What I'd pay for a sure fix!!

I had that same problem, so did my friend in his SS. My fix was simply to change to a new clutch, get a RAM master, new slave, and i did the drill mod. Im not sure which one really fixed it, but i think it was the clutch. I think this is just a problem of having a clutch that is going out. Mine got so bad that i could smell the clutch after pushing it in and revving. My friend did the samething I did. He even got the same clutch and it went away right after the installs.
I think the problem is with the clutch going bad and creating so much heat that it sticks to the pressure plate. I think it also heats up the hydraulics so much that they thin out and dont work as well to disengage the clutch.
Hey Redneck if you need some help with your clutch install, id be happy to lend you a hand or explain it to you. It is a pretty easy thing to do and only takes a few hours in your garage.

My clutch started doing it after I did heads/cam with uncoated JBA shorties. The clutch is new and never had a problem until after the swap. This leads me to believe that it might have something to do with the higher temps boiling the fluid. I did put a heat reflectant cover on the braided master-slave line, but it didn't seem to help much. My clutch seems to be holding o.k. as I can't detect any noticeable slip. I would like to do a new clutch nonetheless, but am worried that it won't solve the problem. I think I'll try bleeding the system and using synthetic fluid. BTW, thanks for the offer PewterWSSicc! I've done most of the work on my car, but haven't done a clutch yet. Was it hard? I was probably going to take it somewhere because my garage is too small, and you never know what kind of weather you're gonna get in the winter.
