shifting at high rpms

shifting at high rpms when i shift when i race (above 5500 rpms it takes a second to go into second and then it takes a second to go into third... is it my throw out bearing and slave because i didn't replace it when i put my centerforce in. but it shifts fine at normal driving speeds

I just had my CF put in and if you do have the new slave in also I will guarantee you probably still have air in there some where that has to be bled out. I had the exact same problem they had to bleed it like 10 times. Now its never shifted better even at 5500+. Also i dont know how long youve had it in but the pedal feel as well as the egagement point gets alot better after the first 5-800 miles (its a centerforce thing)
I m getting my CF DF put in next week but when I first got my car it shifted just PERFECT not sure how old my clutch is or if its the stock slave but in nNOV '05 I started getting that problem except mine woulkd start around 4500rpm
