Re: aluminum flywheel ?
i just installed mine about 1 month ago with a cartek clutch.lighter, less rotating, and weight makes the engine rev. quicker i could tell a diffrence in mine and everything is pretty much stock except for the rear end.no track times with it yet though.

Re: aluminum flywheel ?
I got mine in and notice that my car bogs sooo much more than it used to. Especially at the track your launches will suck IMO compared to a heavier wheel (for more inertia)

Re: aluminum flywheel ?
From what I was told when looking into an aluminum flywheel was that yes it is lighter and will rev faster, but it will also slow down a lot between shifts, therefore as much as you gain from the start evens out between shifts. Thats why I left the stock flywheel on. Than again I have no experiance with this, it was stated to me from John Stewart and a few other good sources. So all in all save the money IMO...Thanks, Michael

I need to try the trick were you hold it at 5K and right before you dump the cluch rev it up so that you dump the clutch as the revs are increasing towards ~6K rpm.....
I'll see how it works when I get some better tires.
