Clutch not engaging?
Clutch not engaging? A buddy (02 z28) and I (00 z28) are out cruising and we catch a light. So the light turns green and I'm slipping the clutch around 2700 then dump it, all I get is a sky rocket in my RPMs to about 5500, shift to 2nd and the same thing happens. So i just give up and shift into 3rd (going about 25) and just drive normal and it's fine. After talking to my friend the same thing happened to him, though he went to neutral then back into first and it grabbed for him. Since then I have dropped it plenty of times and haven't been able to reproduce the same effect. Is the clutch just sticking, is this a common problem?
