Was replacing my clutch so decided to get my flywheel resurfaced. Got a Spec 3 clutch and it said to resurface the flywheel to a maximum of .015 I told the shop that and came back and picked it up and they cut .027 off of it. He said I needed a .025 shim to put in it. Does anyone know where I can get a flywheel shim for a 2000 LS1 or do I just need to buy a new flywheel?

Did you read about this guy's spec 3 ? Maybe you should not keep the old flywheel if it's outside specifications. I'd get a new one.
