Default powershifting into second?

why when i powershift into second does it not go into gear right away. I put all my strength into ripping the shifter but it still takes a while. ??????

My bet would be either on the syncros just taking some time to do their job, or a clutch that's not disengaging fully.

You need to remove the slave line restriction. Your problem may run deeper than this but GM necked the slave cylinder line passage to soften drive train impact on the last models of M6 cars. This also keeps people from easily stalling on take off but delays clutch action on rapid shifts. There are several write-ups on the situation and the remedy. I did the fix and can definitely feel the difference.
