master cylinder problems...need help fast

Default master cylinder problems...need help fast

trying to change my master cylinder, and i can't get the quick disconnect line off. I've pushed the white nylon part in all the way and can't get the braided line out. any ideas? it's sitting in a friends driveway, so i need to get it done tonight...

use 2 flathead screwdrivers and push it in evenly then point the screwdrivers inward towards the slave so you push that little white ring in deeper and have someone pull on the line a little not hard it should come out, i did mine myself

that's exactly what we're doing and it's not working. we have the quick disconnect line as far in as it will go and the line isn't coming out.

the top part you can't see is probably whats holding you up.
I always rotate it so the ends are facing down. if you have the ends facing up its gonna be a bitch to get them both in all the way.
