Tapping After Clutch Install

Have tapping noise coming from trans, bell housing area after install of new clutch kit.Taps at idle & if you give it a little throttle, push clutch in
tapping stops!!Any ideas before tear down again? Not loud like an exhaust leak.

throw out bearing? Did you replace it with a new one?

im not sure if this is it, but i had a clicking noise after i installed my clutch, couldntfigure out what it was. Only mine would never stop. It would get faster when i revved it. Mine turned out to be the plastic "inspection cover" right near the oil filter that was touching the back of the flywheel. I wish i would have known that before i pulled out the tranny and clutch off again.

would have been a 30 sec. fix
