pressure plate question

i have my pp installed and torqued to spec and now not all the fingers are compressed the same distance. is this wrong do i need to retorque? please answer fast i wanna put the freshly rebuilt tranny back in and get to driving.

Who makes the pp, tech support from clutch companies is generally pretty good. give the manufactuer a call, sorry I couldnt give you a real awnser.

torque is 58 lb ft in a criss cross pattern. is that how you did it?

what clutch is it? id do as mentioned earlier and call about it. it could be a defect. the last thing you wanna do is put it back together and it not work.

did you use an alignment tool to center the clutch disk? that is the only reason the fingers shouldn't be all exactly the same! Don't put it back together until they are!
