Default tough to get in reverse

Now Im having issues getting the car in reverse. It takes my wife 2 hands to get it in. What could it be? the car shifts fine. It all started when i installed my line lock and when i went to test it, it wouldnt hold. Well after I said eff it, I went to drive off and i couldnt get the car in 1st or reverse. I replaced the slave, clutch and master cylinders and im still having issues with reverse. first gear is fine now. What could be causing this? I havent changed the reverse lockout module, but I dont think thats the problem. Any ideas?

well you can force it into reverse if the lock out feature is in place. its hard to do but it sounds like its not disenguaging. it has to get power to unlock. id make sure its pluged in after you have had the tranny out and all. it can easly be forgotten.

good point. ill have to get it checked and make sure they did install it correctly. So if its not plugged in, I could still get it in reverse when the car is on?

it has a spring that you can "force" to get it into reverse. your car has to be pretty much not rolling at all for it to "unlock" i know that when i roll backward on my driveway before i put it in reverse i have to stop, have to wait till your not moving other wise its hard to get it. if it takes your wife both hands to get in reverse id bet that is your prob. i would think you would get a code though if it wasnt plugged in???
