Clutch Problem? About a year ago, I replaced my stock clutch in my 98 SS with a SPEC III. I love it, and while the trans was out, went with an updated slave cylinder (2001+).
Now, there's a little whining noise when I first move the car on cold mornings, then it goes away. (TOB?)
Also, when I accelerate in a high gear, the clutch wants to slip around part to full throttle. I didn't update the master, is this my problem, and will it fix the issue? Anyone had this problem?

Whining noise could be a lot of things... pilot bearing, internal bearings in the trans, improper viscosity fluid etc.... does it whine with the clutch in, or only with it out?
As for the clutch slipping problem that one's easy, either your friction disc is worn beyond lmits or your pressure plate isn't bolted all the way down flush/tight. Either way you've gotta pull the trans and inspect the clutch. A bad master or bad slave wouldn't make the clutch slip.
