Slave cylinder or clutch problem?
Slave cylinder or clutch problem? Tranny: 2002 T-56, SpecIII clutch (shim was installed), wilwood master
Well, after a spirited jaunt today with the new set up (the car was driving 100% fine forever until this happened), the car suddenly became very difficult to shift, gradually getting worse until it could not engage first from idle. I hoped that I had just toasted the clutch fluid, so I came home and did a full fluid exchange and bleed. Pedal does feel solid. Start it up, it drives a few feet fine then does the same thing.... the clutch is clearly not fully releasing. If I crank the car with it in gear and the clutch down, it lurches forward. I tried bleeding a second time and went through a full bottle of fluid, same issue. So what are we thinking? Slave cylinder issue? Clutch issue?

The master has not been out of the car for about a year and has run fine every day. It just suddenly stopped working.
I have the same clutch.....and had also the same problem...mine was difficult to shift at any RPM at first..but then if developed on at higher RPM..I put an adjustable master cylinder in it and it shifts great....hope that helps...
