Pilot Bearing Install?
about ready to put everything back together
do i need to replace my pilot bearing? I don't know how I can get that out, without the "blind puller", which i don't have.
is it a must? my car has 20k on it, going on my spec 5
any other ways to get it out?
thanks!
For future reference you can take a 3/16 to 1/4" drill bit to make a few holes through the bushing and collapse it to get it out.
Actually that works good with bronze bushings, the ones with the needle bearings inside are made of harder metal I think.
