Friend of mine is having trans problems...
Friend of mine is having trans problems... He was messing around and tried to pull 2nd gear hard, but I think he let out the clutch a little too soon and it popped back out of gear.
Right now it will upshift fine in all gears, but when he goes to downshift without matching the revs, 2nd gear will not want to engage. It takes two tries sometimes for it to go into 2nd. If he gives the throttle a little blip to rev match, it will go into 2nd on the downshift fine.
Synchros? The rest of the gears will downshift with no problems.
Ideas? I'll pass on the messages.

i did it with mine and i had a prob with 2nd like you say, but i've driven it since and now it's just like it always was, no problems downshifting at all. i usually go to 2nd about 30-35.
